Great Oakley Brewery
A multi-award winning brewery established within Great Oakley Village
Founded in 2005 by husband-and-wife team Phil and Hazel Greenway in the village, the brewery began as a small family operation producing a core range of real ales alongside specials. In 2016, their Tiffield Thunderbolt won Gold for Best Bitters and Pale Ales and Silver overall at the SIBA Midlands Regional Awards.
The brewery moved to Tiffield 30 miles away to expand, retaining the Great Oakley name as a nod to its origins. Today it produces ten regular beers and a growing range of specials, a multi-award-winning operation built on craft, consistency, and a love of great beer.
The brewery is now located in Tiffield, just 30 miles down the road from Great Oakley, as the business has continued to expand. But it maintains its name, as a nod to its history and the small little village in which a unique product was born.
